Waka Huia

100 years ago, land was stolen from the tribe of Ngati-Oneone in the East Coast of New Zealand. The land was taken from them to build a port, now known as, ‘Gisborne Port.’ After years of debating to give the land back and not being heard, the decedents of Rawiri Te Eketu o te Rangi have decided to march and take occupation over the land that is rightfully theirs.
