Built 1,500 years BC on the west bank of the Nile, opposite the Temple of Karnak, Hatshepsut's Temple of a Million Years is undoubtedly a spectacular new kind of temple for Egyptologists from around the world. After numerous excavations and painstaking reconstruction work, it is now the most monumental vestige of all the constructions initiated by Hatshepsut throughout Egypt.
