The Qinghai-Tibet line in China is the highest railway on the planet. Built to connect one of the most inaccessible cities on Earth with the rest of China, the engineering challenge is running trains at a high altitude. With oxygen levels almost half that at sea level, how do you undertake construction in an environment where humans struggle to even breathe?
