In this four-part docu-drama, an international team of police officers and several journalists embark on an investigation to understand the incomprehensible: the discovery of 48 bodies - men, women and children - on a farm in the Swiss Alps. The victims are all part of a sect, the Order of the Solar Temple. At first, it seems that they have taken part in a death ritual. But as the case grows, no leads are ruled out.
