Europe's Highlands

The Hunsruck in Western Germany is a natural paradise of rocky landscapes and enchanted valleys. The mountains are bordered by large rivers such as the Rhine and Moselle, which have carved their way deep into the Devonian shale over millions of years of the earth's history.
