Helensburgh to Connel
Michael Portillo continues his exploration of Scotland's spectacular west coast from the Firth of Clyde to the Outer Hebrides. From the 250-year-old 'new town' of Helensburgh on the north bank of the Clyde, Michael takes his favourite West Highland Line across epic landscapes to Garelochhead and Ben Cruachan and then to Connel Bridge and the waters of Loch Etive.
