Nino unexpectedly appears at Elena's book presentation in Milan. He defends her from the attacks of a particularly aggressive journalist. Elena's future mother-in-law, Adele, is impressed by Nino and invites him to dine with them. During the dinner, Elena realizes her crush on Nino never really abandoned her and serious doubts arise in her mind about her fiance Pietro.
