As Giardello is again lectured about the need to improve his unit's success rate, Bayliss and Pembleton prepare to raid a house where they believe Adena Watson was killed. While there, they uncover a den of malnourished glue sniffers, but no evidence that Adena was ever in the house. The tension increases between the two detectives.
