Macro Worlds

As soon as the days get cold and dark insects begin to disappear from the meadows and fields. Their sum and hum slowly fades away and will finally be gone. All animals have their special ways to survive winter. Migrating birds like swallows and cranes fly towards south, a lot of mammals like deer get a thick winter fur or hide away and sleep where it's warm. But what do insects do? And why are they all back in spring?
