During the war, Jawad Bashara, Iraqi writer exiled in France under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein, decides to return to his country to rescue the treasures of Mesopotamia targeted and destroyed by Isis. Along with a team of archaeologists from all over the world, he embarks on a hazardous quest for our origins.
