Hugh Bonneville takes us on a tour of the gardens found at the private royal houses across Britain including Norfolk's Sandringham Estate, Ayrshire's Dumfries House and Prince Charles' pride and joy, the gardening paradise that is Highgrove. A visit to Highgrove reveals how Prince Charles has created a number of stunning and innovative gardens, such as a Victorian-inspired Stumpery and an area Prince Charles proudly calls his sewage garden, which uses plants to purify the wastewater that comes directly from the Prince's house. We also learn that a spectacular treehouse built for Prince's William and Harry followed a gardening tradition that can be traced back to the spectacular Great Pagoda found at Kew's Royal Botanic Gardens.
