Jon Hjaltalin gives a thunderous speech at the Icelandic parliament about inflation, the lack of rights of fish processing workers, and a fisherman strike that has paralysed the country. Meanwhile, Harpa and Grimur are caught in a dilemma. In order to pay their debts, they become strike-breakers when they secretly send their trawler out to sea.
