When Black Women Go Missing

Black girls and women go missing at disproportionate rates in the US, but their cases get only a fraction of the media coverage that missing white women get. This lack of attention, combined with poverty and institutional racism, fosters a web of organised crime that exploits, grooms and traffics thousands of Black girls across the country.
