Lewis and new Homicide Detective Mike Kellerman "partner-up" to investigate a murder and seemingly random purse-snatching. After several dead-ends, J H Brodie, a Channel Eight News video cameraman, gives them a tape on which he filmed the killers. Afraid he will lose his job, Brodie must go against his boss to help Homicide solve the crime.
