Munch is devastated from being dumped by Felicia. Bolander, in uncharacteristic fashion, offers sympathy. In preparation for his first romantic evening with Linda, the waitress, Bolander asks Howard to double date. Munch interrupts the dinner, from which he's been excluded, warning them all about the futility of love.
