Swamp Thing
A dead boar with its head cut off is found in a swamp on an island preserve, and a human finger and clothing are found in its belly. The boar was shot a day ago, but the victim (John Jackson, a former Marine turned Coast Guard Reservist) died five days earlier. Carlos and Daniel find evidence that Jackson was shot and then doused in syrup so that the boar would eat him. Was the killer Benjamin Forey, an illegal hunting guide, survivalist, and former Marine cohort of Jackson's?
