Underground Worlds

In this episode, we explore the caves and subterranean tunnels under the beautiful city of Orvieto in Italy. These caves were originally built by the Etruscans long before the Roman Empire came of age. We also visit the enormous former limestone mine under Kansas City that has been converted into a business complex. And we venture into the darkness of Peak Cavern in the UK, where humans lived away from prying eyes through the Middle Ages.
