The World from Above
Oxburgh Hall To Blenheim Palace
This journey begins at Oxburgh Hall, a medieval manor house, surrounded by a defensive moat. One of the great glories of Britain is its ancient cathedrals, many of which, like Ely, were built over hundreds of years. Across the English landscape are several powerful medieval castles, and Warwick is a superb example. The final location is Blenheim Palace and the only palace not in royal hands. It was built for the Duke of Marlborough following his military successes in the early 18th century.
