The Zoo

Petra the pygmy hippo is about to give birth. Pygmy hippos are endangered and this is the last chance for the species in Australia. Meanwhile, a tiny and precious 14-day-old brush-tailed rock wallaby joey is carefully swapped from one pouch to another in a delicate procedure. Also, Mr Hobbs the sun bear makes a visit to the dentist. Then, an injured red-bellied black snake arrives at the wildlife hospital. Hosted by Melissa Doyle.
