Great Coastal Railway Journeys

This leg of Michael's journey starts in Southampton, one of the busiest ports on the South Coast and home to the National Oceanography Centre. Whilst learning of their role in the fight against plastic in our seas, Michael discovers their new fleet of research submarines. From the port, Michael takes a ferry to the Isle of Wight. Once there, a nostalgic ride on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway prompts fond memories of childhood family holidays.
