Mahana

Mahana is the story of a powerful rivalry between two Maori families who make their living as shearers around Gisborne, on the east coast of New Zealand, in the early 1960s. Patriarch Tamihana Mahana clashes with his grandson, Simeon, over the boy's attraction to a girl in the Poata family, their sworn enemies.
