But in order to match its revolutionary approach to vehicle engineering, the team at Tesla, created one of the largest and most technologically advanced factories in the world. The cutting-edge factory in Fremont, California, has a footprint of 5.3 million square feet, and at 1.5km long, is one of the biggest buildings on Earth.
