The morning after the party is painful for Philippe. He's more determined than ever to start a new life in Paris with Marianne. He leaves a letter explaining everything to Jenny, but before he can escape, he learns that Tom, his son, skipped school and is nowhere to be found. Philippe goes looking for him. Meanwhile, Jenny finds Philippe's letter and decides to take action.
