Augrabies Falls
Augrabies is where the mighty Orange River plunges over the awesome 56 meter Augrabies waterfall. Derived from a word "oukurubes" which means "place of thunder" in the indigenous language of the Nama-Khoi this land is the heart of a harsh and sun-beaten world with flashes of brilliant color and a thunderous roar.
