International Space Station

The International Space Station is one of the most complex scientific engineering projects ever undertaken, and the largest artificial body in space. Constructed in orbit, the station consists of pressurised modules, with power provided by solar arrays spanning a whopping 58 metres, generating 32.8kW each. Travelling up to 28,000 km/h and orbiting the earth almost 16 times a day, this incredible machine is now reaching its full potential.
