Mahana

Mahana is the story of a powerful rivalry between two Maori families who make their living as shearers around Gisborne, on the east coast of New Zealand , in the early 1960s. Patriarch Tamihana Mahana clashes with his grandson, Simeon, over the boy's attraction to a girl in the Poata family, their sworn enemies.
