Yukon Wild

The Yukon is a true wilderness, one of the last on Earth. The vast land got its name from its longest river, which the Gwich'in, one of the indigenous people of the region, call "Yu-kun- ah", or, the "great river". The third longest waterway in North America, the Yukon River flows through wide open valleys and narrow channels over 3,000 km Northwest towards the storm tossed Bering Sea.
