Anna and Isaak join forces on an unofficial investigation. Fef is hot on their heels, convinced that Isaak disposed of Kurz's body and has kidnapped Anna. Fef questions his sister Irina, Isaak's wife, and senses she is hiding something. She is also secretly harbouring Hoi, who has kept the microcapsule found in the dead body. Anxious for the truth to come out, Irina gives the capsule to Lydia, the Russian delegate at Baikonur.
