Good News in a Parched Land
57 years after Dr. Billy Graham's first Gospel Crusade to Australia, Billy's grandson and evangelist, Will Graham was invited by the combined churches of Alice Springs to speak during a weekend rally. Will travelled half way around the world to share an important message of hope to the Indigenous people of outback Central Australia. This documentary demonstrates the way in which the gospel transcends cultures, restores hope and transforms lives. The stories are contained within a narrative spoken through Psalm 107 which is weaved throughout the stories shared by local Indigenous and non-Indengenious Australians and overseas visitors. Good News is a Parched Land is filmed in the beautiful outback Australian landscape. Viewers can expect to see a rich visual feast coupled with engaging storyline.
